What does it cost to get started?

A one-time set-up fee of $25.00.

This fee is so low because the time and effort a member puts into managing his or her topic is worth vastly more than what it will cost us to build and maintain this system. Their knowledge, experience, and passion to do what they love come naturally. No matter how smart we think we are, we can’t know one tiny speck of what is available to know. Even if we knew everything, there would be no way for us to share it all effectively.

Our goal is to share good things with good people so all who visit any of ThePortalUSA sites will find something useful and something worth coming back over and over again.

Imagine the power of a massive network of thousands of individual topic based web sites that are linked to each other and to a shared database and this network is promoted in all forms of media from coast to coast.

Imagine each of these sites managed by volunteers who care about their chosen topic and are under no editorial control or censorship (outside of keeping things within the law).

Imagine hundreds of thousands of visitors each day searching and finding our member’s content, purchasing their mission related products and services, donating to their causes and good works.

We imaged it and we are transforming our imagination into a powerful network. Anyone who can afford it, can spend a few thousand dollars and have a great looking website; however, ThePortalUSA.org will be a large network of linked websites with a massive storage of valuable content which will generate a high volume of new visitors and their buying power to us.

We are not attempting to be the next major internet craze like MySpace, YouTube, or Google. However, there is a tremendous need for a service that allows people to break out of the limitations and barriers imposed by the current state of social networking, website building, internet marketing, PPC advertising, and page ranking on the mass search engines. These complex matters are a great barrier to entry for many would-be internet entrepreneurs and even larger barriers for social entrepreneurs, nonprofits, and small family businesses.

ThePortalUSA.org is a giant step in the right direction. So far, the response has been very encouraging.

There is still a great deal of work to be done and we have the knowledge, education, business experience, and the passion to make this happen.
